Educational Assistance Program

SGI believes that a more skilled workforce can contribute to employee satisfaction and performance. We sponsor an educational assistance program for courses offered by colleges, universities and technical institutions. After one year of service at SGI, employees are eligible for reimbursement of the tuition fees, textbook fees and registration fees up to $5,250 annually.


Everyone who works at SGI is responsible for our success and the success of our clients. That's why we are committed to I-Power, a nationally recognized continuous improvement program. We encourage our employees to submit ideas that improve our operations, boost efficiency or reduce costs.

Employees from all departments are asked to think about the processes used in their work and to contribute worthwhile suggestions for improving quality or saving resources. When our employees submit an I-Power suggestion, they receive immediate feedback and, most importantly, the power to implement their ideas. Those who submit the most helpful ideas each month are rewarded financially. Since the program started in 1993, SGI has paid out over $250,000 to employees for their ideas and suggestions.
